Sari Nordman is a NYC-based dancer-choreographer and video artist. She loves to travel to the isolated parts of the world and her dances and videos are closely connected with nature and history. In her work she contemplates nature in specific locations and combined with her personal sense research juxtaposes feminine mystique with environmental anxieties. Most recently she has presented her work for Dance Film Lab Moderated Screening at Gibney Dance Center, SHIM Finland at Odetta Gallery, Performance Mix Festival and UnSpace Gallery in the US; TsakBam Festival in Greece; and for Alpo Jaakola Statuary Park, Eckerö Post and Customs House, Teatteri Avoimet Ovet and Zodiak in Finland. She holds a M.F.A. from NYU/Tisch School of the Arts.
